We are artists and engineers who believe the best effect is the one nobody notices. From a single sky replacement to a three-hundred-shot creature sequence, every frame gets the same obsessive care.

Founded by supervisors from feature-film pipelines, VFX Studio keeps teams small and senior. You speak directly to the people doing the work.

We work from first previs sketch to final graded delivery, on budgets that range from indie features to global campaigns.

From first sketch to final pixel

A clear, five-stage process with fixed review points, so you always know where every shot stands.

  1. 01

    Breakdown

We read the script, bid every shot and agree budget and schedule up front.

  2. 02

    Previs

Sequences are blocked in 3D so camera, lenses and timing are solved early.

  3. 03

    On-set supervision

Our supervisors capture HDRIs, lidar and reference so post runs smoothly.

  4. 04

    Build & comp

Assets, FX and comps move through weekly dailies with your team.

  5. 05

    Delivery

Final EXRs in ACES, conformed and QC'd to studio and streamer specs.

A pipeline built on industry standards

Your editorial, colour and sound teams receive files they already know how to use. Our render farm scales to meet any deadline.

The best effect is the one nobody notices

Why we judge every shot by one question — did the audience stay in the story? — and what that means for how we bid, build and review.

Process1 min read

Why VFX belongs in pre-production

A two-hour breakdown session before the shoot usually saves more money than any decision made in post. Here is what we cover.

Inside an ACES pipeline

Before you send the script

All questions →
How early should we bring you in?

As early as pre-production. A short breakdown session before the shoot usually saves more money than any decision made in post.

Do you take on small projects?

Yes. We handle single-shot fixes and short commercial jobs alongside feature work, with the same senior artists on each.

Can you work with our in-house team?

Absolutely. We share assets, match your naming and colour pipeline, and join your review sessions as if we were down the hall.

How do you price a project?

We bid shot by shot from your script or cut, so you see exactly where the budget goes. Fixed bids are available once the edit is locked.

How do reviews work?

You get secure, frame-accurate review links with notes tools, plus weekly live dailies with the supervisor on your show.

Have a shot that seems impossible?

Send us your script, storyboard or rough cut. We reply within one working day with questions or a first bid.
