Ask us anything
Do I need any experience to join a class?

Not at all. Pointed Pen Foundations and Modern Brush Lettering are written for complete beginners. We start with how to hold the pen and build up one stroke at a time.

Are materials included in the class price?

Yes. Every seat includes nibs, holders or brush pens, inks, guide sheets and practice paper, and you take your starter kit home at the end.

How far ahead should I book wedding stationery?

Three to four months before the day is ideal for invitations, and six to eight weeks for envelopes, place cards and seating charts. Get in touch even if your date is closer; we often fit in smaller orders.

Can you match the style of my existing invitations?

Usually, yes. Send a photo of your suite and we will letter samples in a matching hand, ink colour and layout before anything is written for real.

Do you post finished work?

We wrap every piece flat between card and post it tracked, or you can collect it from the studio. Digital files for printing are emailed the same day.

Can I give a class as a gift?

Gift vouchers are available for any class and are valid for twelve months. Send us an enquiry and choose the class you would like to give.
